i will be vacationing in paris and i was wondering of the data service would work in paris because i can use it for the translator because i know basic french to get me by but not enough.

Yes it will most likely find a tower to roam off of while in paris but speak with your carrier and see if they offer any international roaming packages

It will work but your bill with be HUGE NOT WORTH IT a simple phone call is uber expensive.

speak to t-mobile b4 you go most likely they will have a package for worldwide. most cell phone companys do.

yes, but it will be rediculously expensive, get roaming minutes, or get a card, or talk to t-mobile. hopee this helpss.

I am from Belgium, I come regulary in France and in Spain . In both countries I use the provider "Orange". The first time you use them have to give your region where you are and they do the rest. I'm using NOKIA N95 8GB. I start the internet, browser and everything goes like i'm in Belgium. No problem at all. I can do the windowslive, the google, the yahoo everything as home. When you inform maiby ask for "Orange" they do nice job. The costs almost the same as in my homecountry.

I'm from the USA and I will be visting Paris for 3 days. My friend from the UK is planning on meeting up with me while I'm in Paris. What I want to know is if her cell phone (mobile) will work if I try to call her from a pay phone in Paris to tell her where I am. So, will her British cell phone work in Paris?

i would say yes. when i lived there i got a vodafone which went in all countries...or they had associated networks...other companies also have associates....there might be a few price diffs but it workds

Techinically yes, it will work. The only thing is that some companies put a bar on calling (although not normally receiving) when abroad, for security reasons. So if she has't already been abroad and used it, it would be wise for her to contact her service provider in advance just to make sure Oh - and also get her to check, because she may be charged for both making and receiving calls abroad as well.

Obergruppenfuhrer is a rank, like Sargeant, or Major. He would do what he was told to do by his superior officers.
