Will my phone work abroad, Paris and Belgium? Please help!?
I have a Samsung Tocco Lite GT-S5230 and im going to Paris and Belgium in a week and i need to use my phone and im not sure if i can use it there? I'm with Orange network and i've tried looking on their website but they wont give the make of my phone, so if anyone knows of can find me out it would be a big help and i would be very grateful :) Oh and i'm on pay as you go ? Thanks xx Oh and i live in england :)

Yes it will work but be aware when you get home expect a major bill since using an American cell phone in France can cost up t0 $40.00 a minute

Is it possible to live around Paris and commute to london? how many hours would it be (average) with public transportation?

You don't have time for anything but Eurostar. Dp London 05:34 ar Paris 09:23. Fare US$50.50 Dp Paris 18:16 ar London 19:58. Fare US$92.50 What you'll need is a flat right across the street from the London train station. But for $150/day less, you could live in Paris. If somebody said they'd pay me $150/day to live in Paris, well, that's a no-brainer! LOL

Possible? Yes. However it would be ridiculous and stupid to commute like that on a daily basis. The eurostar train that runs between Paris and London takes 2 and a half hours and costs £150 which is equivalent to $300USD.

Just like any city, depending on what they do for a living, people pretty much work everywhere. But, La Defense is the the big business district and most of the product-oriented companies are located in the suburbs. Montparnasse is a business center in the city limits but most jobs in the inner city are service-oriented, like, restaurants, hotels, banks, boutiques and department stores, etc.
