No i dont think the phone will work, France use the GSM bandwidth 900/1800/1900 so since the phone is in a different bandwidth so it wont work!

Yes your phone will work. Your phone covers all the bandwidth ranges. When you say local sim, do you mean a Paris sim? It will work with any sim except you will be on roaming if you use another country sim. However, make sure that your country operator has roaming facilities in Paris (which im pretty sure they do).

Would a Vodafone from Netherlands work in France

Would a Vodafone from Netherlands work in France?
I bought a sim card cell from Netherlands, and I am going to Paris, I am wondering if the cellphone (vodafone) work in Paris. Also, would the charger from Netherlands work in Paris. I am not too familiar with Europe yet. Thanks. Also, would I be able to rent a car in Europe and drive with an American License?

If you buy a sim card in the Netherlands then it is only sensible to use it in the Netherlands. Using it in Paris will mean you are charged extra for using and recieving calls abroad. It is more sensible to use a pay-as-you-go sim card for NL to use in NL, and then if you are spending time in Paris to do the same there as well (unless you have credit left on your NL sim card and you are not planning to return in the trip) The charger from NL will also work in Paris,no problem at all Yes you will be able to rent a car with an American licence in most countries that I am aware of, but there may be a chance you will need the International Driver's Permit to accompany it, as it is "recommended" in some countries (although with the bigger rental agencies at least then this is not commonly requested) You can see here on the Rick Steves' guide (his info is usually pretty reliable about Europe from what I have read on other subjects) and you can see the countries where it is recommended, and how to obtain it (plus other tips) http://www.ricksteves.com/rail/carrent.htm and here is the official State dept info http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/safety/safety_1179.html

Your sim card will work but the rate they charge per minute or sms will change the charger will work in all European countries except the UK and Ireland.

Would you rather live and work in Milan or Paris

Would you rather live and work in Milan or Paris?
At which Vogue? Vogue Italia, or Vogue Paris? Paris is the fashion capital of the world but doesn't have the prestigious reviews Vogue Italia has.

Italian Vogue has much more old-world glamour with a punch of color and fabric variations....so if I was feeling classic and really old-world movie-starish I would go for Milan and Vogue Italia Paris is more puncy and punky, with lots of black, and lots of personality. It is more exotic and willing to go outside the lines, so if I felt really wild and amazing, it would be Vogue Francois for sure. Right now i'm feeling like a ride in a Ferrari, with a gorgeous silk scarf and sky high stilettos , so right at this very moment, Vogue Italia. Where would you live?
