I got a game for the Wii called Sonic and the Black Knight. Will it work in my wii back in canada??? Also, is there any way i can change the language from french to english??? Thnx!!! If there's a region lock...can i unlock it???

No, there is a region lock. Region locks are burnt into the disc. The only way to play it is to use a Wii from EU. Those Wiis have the code to unlock. Canada & US Wiis have a different North America Code

Unfortunately your american wii is NTSC and only supports NTSC games. Europe games are PAL and only consoles designated to play PAL games will play them. Here is a list of the world and shows which countries use which encoding system. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0d/PAL-NTSC-SECAM.svg/800px-PAL-NTSC-SECAM.svg.png Looks like Paris uses PAL and Canada uses NTSC, so you will not be able to play that game.
