AND RELIGION) - Believe in Great Chain of Being: everyone has a God-given place in creation; one broken link destorys chain. If you're a serf, accept it as what God intended for you. If the king is a cruel mad man, accept it as God's will. -The Bible is not translated into English, Frence, etc because priest must interpret Bible for the people and mediate them with God. -The Catholic Church defines what Cristians must believe and what rulers should do. -Pope has power over kings. -All reading should be of Christian religious works. thank you for helping
